What is Soft Manifestation? Our founder, Morgan Sachs’, perspective.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting deeply on the concept of manifestation and my personal experience with it. With so many different angles and perspectives out there, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Since reading ‘The Secret’ in 2011, I’ve explored various ideas about manifestation and I feel like I’ve come to a place of understanding. However, as life continually teaches me, there’s no singular truth—just our unique perceptions of it.

Ultimately, I don’t believe there’s a definitive right way or answer when it comes to manifesting. What I’ve discovered is a perspective that resonates with me, and I want to share it with you.

Manifestation, at its core, means “to make visible.” In our expansive, multi-dimensional universe, everything exists in energy form. When something manifests, it means that energy has transitioned into something visible to our physical senses in the 3D realm.

One aspect of manifestation that has always felt off to me is the notion that we can control or will our desires into existence. From my experience, when we hold an authentic desire, the true “work” is not in forcing or controlling, but in trusting that it will manifest. This trust is the only “work” required.

This is the Feminine Way of manifestation. It’s about receiving rather than forcing. It’s about releasing the mental constraints that seek to predict and control. It’s about expanding our perceptions to allow the energy of our desires to flow naturally through us, without getting tangled in the limitations of the mind. It’s about embracing Presence.

Manifestation culture often promotes tools and programs that reinforce the idea that you need to “do this” to make things happen. This approach can lead to a mindset of force and control.

However, you are not the manifestor — you are that which is manifested.

What if you have less control than you think? What if Life is simply unfolding through you, and you’re not making anything happen on your own?

The perfect example of this was a few years ago, my husband, son and I were living in Washington state. I wanted to purchase a home, feel connected to a community and expand my business. I tried many different actions to make these things possible but it just wasn’t happening. But when my father became terminally ill, my husband and I decided we needed to move back home to Missouri (something I was verrrryyyy resistant to).

Within a year of moving back, we purchased a home, have established a community of friends and my business is growing. These are all of the things I spent years trying to make happen on my own. Had I known that they would have manifested in their own timing, in their own way, I would have relaxed and enjoyed the journey so much more.

This concept may seem subtle, but it’s profoundly liberating. It invites us to shift from seeing ourselves as the sole creators, to recognizing ourselves as vessels through which our desires manifest.

When you understand yourself as a vessel, it shifts the focus from controlling outcomes to trusting the process. You are not responsible for making things happen through sheer willpower; instead, you are here to open yourself up to the energy of your desires and allow them to manifest through you — in unpredictable ways and divine timing.

This process requires expanding your awareness. By opening your mind to how your desires might manifest, you connect more deeply with the abundant potential that already exists within you, and trust how it unfolds.

Just as my mind was very closed off to the idea of moving back to the Midwest, once I opened my mind to new possibilities, things could finally shift.

You see, it’s not about controlling outcomes but connecting with the energy of your desires, and then trusting the process of how that energy will manifest (which is often far better than your original plan).

So, if you feel like your desires aren’t manifesting, here’s what I would recommend:

  1. Make sure this is an authentic desire. Is it something you TRULY want or is it a desire conditioned by what society tells you should want? True desires feel deeply satisfying when manifested. Conditioned desires leave you wanting more. Make a list of the essence of what you truly desire, is it love, creative expression, beauty, etc.?

  2. Embody the pure energy of your desire. If you desire love, feel the love within yourself. If you want a new vehicle, imagine how it would feel to drive that vehicle anytime you’re on the road. If you want a community, go into meditation and begin to feel the energy of being connected.

  3. Expand your mind. Be open to how the pure energy of your desire will manifest. Maybe you want a new vehicle but you’ve been too focused on particular model. What if there’s something even better out there for you? Maybe you want to be in a committed relationship but you are only dating certain types of people. Maybe you want to grow your business but you are dead set on it happening a certain way. Let go of control and let it unfold.
